Orange Peel Jewelry

Today I will show you how to work with orange peel to make jewelry or other crafts

First cut your orange or oranges in half (maybe make some fresh squeezed orange juice :) )
Then using a spoon you can scoop out the rest of the fruit

It should look like this when everything is scooped out

Then you can use scissors or cutters to cut and shape the orange peel however you like....you can make a hole with a toothpick or needle and thread.....let it dry until it hardens (usually takes about 3 days to fully dry)

Once its dry...it's time to dye the orange peel...you can use food dye or fabric dye...and let dry again

Once its dry you can use it to make your own designs for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, key chains, etc....here are some that I have made with orange peel

You can use the same technique for other things like seeds...I made these earrings using the same technique with melon seeds
Hope You Like!! :)
